We Avon independent reps were recently challenged to examine our "whys" for selling Avon.
Most of us reps agreed that whys include the fact that we love Avon products. Most of us really like our customers, too. The substantial discounts are also a major plus. Some reps mentioned the trips. The community of reps who become a second family.
My personal why includes all of the above. But I am specifically making money to help pay for college.
On Saturday, May 7th, I will graduate from Northwest University (Kirkland, WA) with a BA-Business Administration. As I ponder the next step in my career, I also face repayment of student loans. Now that the intensity of working and going to school full-time is winding down, I am hoping to wind up my Avon business. My goal is to work my Avon business enough to pay off my student loans within 2 years. Honestly, that's a fairly modest goal. By June 2018, I want to have sold $80,000 in Avon products. That will allow me to pay off my student loans in full, while also supporting my personal Avon habit. :)
